We are looking for likeminded agricultural people to join our Engineering Business in York, we manufacture gritters, sprayers and turf-care equipment which is supplied to councils, golf courses and contractors.
Vale Engineering (York) Limited is a growing company who have been going for over 22 years, jobs in our FABRICATION, ASSEMBLY and SERVICE DEPARTMENTS are been always been created due to expansion. Currently we need people in our ASSEMBLY DEPARTMENT and SERVICE DEPARTMENT
The Assembly role involves:-
- Assembling the companies range of machines in small batches of the same machine
- Bolting and riveting the machines together using hand, air and power tools
- Plumbing and wiring the machines with basic hydraulics and electrical circuits
- Full instructions and training throughout the process
The Service role involves-:
- Servicing and repairing Customers machines as well as our own hire fleet
- Machines to be worked on include Tractors, Quadbikes, Spreaders and Groundcare equipment
- Involves work on our site and customers sites.
- Experience required
Both roles include-:
- Working in a nice clean working environment, in a modern well equipment workshop
- Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm
- Lots of overtime available if desired
- 29 days holiday
- Assembly role is £15 per hour (£33,150 per annum) following successful probationary period.
- Servicing role salary is dependent on experience – please contact us to discuss further
