VALE Engineering designed and developed the VALE TS1200DC Trailed Salt Spreader (gritter) specifically for use at factories, distribution centres and manufacturing plants. Also suitable for locations such as supermarkets, car manufacturing plants, soft drinks manufacturers and oil refineries. This VALE Engineering salt gritter design can be supplied with adaptor plates to enable attachment to shunter and tug type vehicles.
The VALE TS1200DC Trailed Salt Spreader (gritter) has achieved EC Whole Vehicle Type Approval (ECWVTA). The 1.2m³ hopper on this tow-behind (trailed/trailer) salt spreader (gritter) will comfortably take a 1 ton bag of salt – the preferred method of salt storage in this application.
Importantly, the VALE TS1200DC Trailed Salt Spreader is capable of spreading wet or dry, brown or white salt, via its unique POZI-FEED stainless steel auger system. This design of tow-behind salt spreader is fitted with high quality twin braked axles with road going wheels and tyres. The hydraulic circuit is driven by on-board electric start diesel engine.
