VALE Engineering’s high-capacity VALE DM2000 Demount Salt Spreader (Gritter) is supplied with a demount chassis for easy mounting onto an appropriate flat bed or pickup type vehicle.
Capable of spreading wet or dry, brown or white salt, via its unique POZI-FEED stainless steel auger system, whilst still maintaining a smooth salt flow even at low rates.
The spreading circuit is driven hydraulically via an on-board donkey key start engine, whilst the 2.0m³ hopper of the VALE DM2000 Gritter is designed to take approximately 2500kg of salt. This makes VALE Engineering’s VALE DM2000 capable of being filled from 1-ton bulk bags or from loose.

⦁ Wiring to enable: spreading action to be controlled via the vehicle’s fog light switch meaning no control boxes are required to be wired to the vehicle; and a separate auger reverse switch and beacon switch mounted on the spreader control panel. An LED work light cannot be fitted with this option. The vehicle needs to be fitted with a rear mount lighting socket
