VALE Engineering’s VALE MS800 Tractor Mounted Salt Spreader (Gritter) has a 0.8m³ hopper capacity to take approximately 1000kg of salt. As with VALE Engineering’s other tractor-mounted salt spreaders, the VALE MS800 is capable of spreading wet or dry, brown or white salt via its unique POZI-FEED stainless steel auger system.
The VALE MS800 gritter is fitted with category 2 three-point linkage points the spreader can be used with suitable 80+ hp tractors. The spreading circuit is powered from the tractor’s auxiliary hydraulic circuit (spool valves).
VALE Engineering’s range of tractor-mounted salt spreaders (gritters) should not to confused with converted agricultural fertiliser spreaders which generally struggle to spread rock salt.
VALE Engineering’s MS range of tractor-mounted salt spreaders (gritters) spread at an accurate rate and are much less likely to bridge. These tractor-mounted salt spreaders (gritters) fit to the tractor using the standard three-point linkage, which is fitted to the vast majority of tractors. This is a robust, well-engineered winter maintenance salt spreader design.
