The entry-level VALE MS350 Tractor Mounted Salt Spreader (Gritter) from VALE Engineering is ideal for smaller sites or facilities. This tractor-mounted gritter has a 0.35m³ hopper capacity to take approximately 450kg of salt.
This salt spreader is capable of spreading wet or dry, brown or white salt via its unique POZI-FEED stainless steel auger system. Fitted with category 1 and 2 three point linkage points, this tractor-mounted salt spreader can be used with suitable 30+ hp tractors. The spreading circuit is powered from the tractor’s auxiliary hydraulic circuit (spool valves).
VALE Engineering’s range of tractor-mounted gritters should not to confused with converted fertiliser spreaders which generally struggle to spread rock salt. VALE Engineering’s MS range of tractor-mounted salt spreaders spread at an accurate rate and are much less likely to bridge. These salt spreaders fit to the tractor using the standard three-point linkage, which is fitted to the vast majority of tractors.
