Promotion of Adam Ward to Operations Manager

The well-established Vale Engineering (York) Ltd, producing municipal weed control systems and winter maintenance equipment has promoted Adam Ward from Workshop Engineer to Operations Manager to undertake the day to day organisation of the work going into the fabrication and assembly departments.

James Wilson, Managing Director said "I am very pleased to announce the great news that Adam Ward has been promoted to Operations Manager within the Vale team."

Adam joined Vale in early 2015, after finishing his 5 year degree at Askham Bryan College studying Agriculture & Business management. Adam has always had vested interests in Agriculture through his life, as well as being involved in Young Farmers.

When Adam first joined Vale, his position was workshop engineer. Within this role, Adam has demonstrated a strong work ethic, with a positive can do attitude. He has been an integral cog within the Vale Company.

Adam commented “This is a new and challenging direction for me and I am very excited to be offered the position as Operations Manager. I am pleased to have the opportunity to progress within the family company and create an enjoyable atmosphere with in the team. I thrive working under pressure, and assisting our new and existing customers to make their experience an enjoyable one”.
